Bitty Bats

Makes 1 bat

  • 3 figs
  • 2 small strawberry pieces

Turn the lights down low for this recipe and only prepare it at night - the time bats are awake!

Smoosh 2 figs flat. Carefully use a table knife or a pair of clean scissors to slice figs lengthwise, but leave them attached at the stem. These are the wings.

Pinch the sides and centers to form points on the wings.

Carefully slice the third fig in half. Roll one piece into a long oval and place on the wings for the bat body. Use bits of the other half to form small triangles and attach to the body for ears. Plunk the strawberry bits in front of the ears for eyes.

Eat fast and fly away before the sun rises!
