- Pinch of garlic powder
- Pinch of sea salt
- 2 tablespoons water
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Flitter around the room like a ladybug before coming back to your baking area. Combine cornmeal, flour, garlic and sea salt in a mixing bowl. Add the okra, olive oil and water.
Place mix into a lined mini muffin tin. Bake for 15-17 minutes, until cooked all the way through.
Ladybug body
Each chef needs the following:
- 1 large tomato, sliced in half lengthwise and seeded
- 1/8 cup sliced black olives
- 1 pitted black olive
- 1 teaspoon cream cheese
Place the okra cake inside of each tomato half. Turn the tomato upside down, so the rounded part of the tomato is on top.
Wiggle your toes before using a butter knife to slice three olive slices in half. Place the slices around the tomato for ladybug legs.
Gently use dabs of cream cheese to attach the whole olive to the tomato for the ladybug’s head, and to attach more sliced olives on the tomato for spots.
See if you can "spot" any other red or black items around your kitchen before you eat up!
